CRANFORD LACROSSE CLUB 2021 COVID-19 POLICY AND RETURN TO PLAY RULES

 

  1. All participants, players and coaches, MUST answer all questions on the Google Doc Questionnaire named “2021 Cranford Lacrosse Club - COVID-19 Questionnaire” electronically before entering practice or game field. Parents/Guardians can answer the questionnaire for the player. 
  2. Responses to the Questionnaire:
    • Player’s Name – Please type in player’s name – not the person’s name filling out the form.
    • Date – Enter date of practice/ game
    • Question #1: Symptoms - If any of the listed symptoms are checked off, the participant is NOT allowed to participate that day. If the participant does not have symptoms, they must check off “NONE” and will be allowed to participate. If the symptoms persist, please see a doctor.
    • Question #2: Exposure - If the participant had close contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19 in the last 14 days and answers “Yes”, they are required to follow protocol of quarantine for a period of 10 days or 7 days with a negative COVID-19 test.
    • Question #3: Temperature – You are responsible for taking the temperature of your player and are attesting that their temperature does not exceed 100.3 degrees. If you answer “No”, then they do not have a temperature exceeding 100.3 degrees and can participate. 
    • Question #4: Out of State Travel – If the participant has traveled out of state for non-essential travel and has answered “Yes” to this question, you are NOT allowed to participate and are required to quarantine for a period of 10 days OR 7 days with a negative COVID-19 test. If you answered “No”, your participant may attend practice / game.

 

  1. Proper distancing of 6’ must be maintained while participant is waiting to get on and off the fields.
     
  2. Once the participant has completed the Questionnaire, they may enter the field of play.
    • Players may remove the facial covering during practice / game but if they do, must continue proper safe distancing. 
    • Coaches must always have their facial covering. Coaches must wear the facial coverings if they are within 6’ of any player. They may pull down their facial covering if they are able to maintain at least 6’ distance. 

 

  1. If any participant has been out of state in a high-risk state or have been around a COVID-19 positive patient, you must quarantine from the program for 10 days, 7 days with a negative COVID-19 test. If you test positive for COVID-19 you must be symptom free for at least 3 days and cleared by a doctor prior to returning.
